Sabrina, 5 time Grammy winner and singing sensation, catches up with HIJACKED following her messy break-up with fellow Indie artist, Drew… (UGH!) The two met through Sabrina’s best friend Emily Saks in 2012 at the VMA Awards. The two have been inseparable ever since…or so we thought. According to our sources, Drew managed to separate himself for long enough every day to start a fling with none other than Sabrina’s life-long BFF, Emily Saks. Our favourite superstar allegedly read the home-wrecker’s Emily’s messages to her boyfriend when planning a romantic break for them both to share-sources report-when she discovered Drew’s deep, dark secret. Sabrina states that she was "so distraught she almost blacked out." She caught the two red-handed, leading to an emotional outburst between all three outside of the Hotel Piccadilly. Unfortunately for the star’s millions of fans, Sabrina left the lime-light for a year in order to come to terms with her broken heart and has not spoken out about the event since her extremely public tweet in November 2015. Insiders report that the household-name "became a total recluse and hasn’t spoken to the pair since." They add, "She’s hardly spoken to anyone, developing serious trust issues, but who can blame her? She’s gone through a real rough patch but I know she’ll overcome this eventually."

 

The 22 year old admits that she struggled during this dark time of her life and couldn’t begin to face the outdoor world for a long while. The press became a real hindrance for the star, who developed paranoia about where they would be and how they could get to her. Perhaps Sabrina was finally feeling the fame. Exclusively, she tells HIJACKED, "It’s true that the (pause) experience hit me really hard. I never thought I’d be like one of those girls on movies eating ice cream and crying at chick-flicks but I am. I am another strong, independent woman ruined by a man. After too long hiding in the shadows of my soul, I relied heavily on my fans for support. If it wasn’t for them, I’d definitely still be trapped in my own despair." Exclusive HIJACKED reporters state that Drew tried texting, phoning, tweeting and even turning up at Sabrina’s door to apologise but our classy star had none of it. We’re with you Sabrina! We even spoke with the man cheat himself who stated, "I made a huge mistake and would give anything to be with Sabrina again." Clearly, Little Miss Best Friend is not even good enough for him. Allegedly, Emily Saks has not been in contact with Sabrina since, not even to say sorry. Shame on her. Sabrina says: "talking to any of them would only make things worse. I didn’t want to go back to him. Once a cheat, always a cheat. That’s my new motto (laughs.)" Unlike many celebrities who go through rough patches, our strong superstar did not revert to a life of booze and drugs. Was it even possible for her fans to like her more? Well they do; she perfectly exemplifies that the way to get over a boy is not through drinking yourself into oblivion. Instead she found other strategies. We ask Sabrina, "What was your secret to getting over this difficult time?" Don’t even pretend you weren’t wondering guys…Sabrina states "It’s hard to believe but I actually started meditating. If anything I should thank Drew because his lies led to me finding myself. My experience brought me closer to the music inside my soul." That’s right readers; Sabrina is now a singer, song-writer, dancer, business-woman and guru. Is there anything this chick can’t do?!

 

Like many women, Sabrina decided that the perfect way to mark the beginning of her new Drew-free life, was a new look. Sabrina swapped those platinum blonde locks for her au naturale brunette and we have to say we love it! Sabrina tells HIJACKED, "I did this to get back in touch with my roots (laughs.) No pun intended. But seriously, I really relied on my family at this time and my hair colour was one way that really brought me closer to home." All of us at HIJACKED are over the moon to see our favourite celeb with a smile on her face again…the way it should be for someone so youthful. Recently, the star hit the red carpet after a year out of the spotlight. She took the town by storm in her classic ‘little black dress’ from PRADA paired with outrageously stunning Louis Vuitton’s. This transformation has totally worked in Sabrina’s favour; she is truly radiant. We asked, "Do you think that getting over this break-up was the most important tool in your make-up bag?" to which she replied "not only has the experience made me stronger, and less naïve. But yes, I think that the glowing look a woman gets at this point is her reward for the wasted days of moping and crying…and the chocolate (laughs.)" The most prominent question on everybody’s brain now is…will she be introducing any new chart-topping hits. Exclusively, HIJACKED can reveal that the answer is…YES! Sabrina will be sharing her new track, "A Hole in my Heart" in December. The buzz on Sabrina’s single is that she used her experience in the lyrics to add integrity to the emotion. WARNING! A large box of tissues may be required when you first hear this meaningful, from-the-heart song. Her new song will feature the one and only Eliza, who appears to be Sabrina’s new gal-pal. The harmonies are said to be spine-tingling, but that’s no surprise coming from these Indie deities. But where does Sabrina’s career go from here? She has mastered singing, dance and much more so what is next? HIJACKED can also divulge that Sabrina has accepted her first acting role as the lead female in Josh Boone’s–the director who brought you Fault in our Stars- new romantic comedy, "Devoted to You." Allegedly, Sabrina felt that it was time for a new challenge in her life and wanted more work to throw herself into. We are sure she will be a success. The star will appear alongside Joshua Dane. The two were seen getting very comfortable as they attended Eliza’s album party together. We hear wedding bells, do you? Despite Sabrina’s sudden success in many aspects of her life, she is not leaving her music or her fans behind. She advises all women and fans to react to break-ups stronger than she did; she was almost ruined. "My message to fans is to wipe away the mascara, hold your head up high, sing into your shower head and get back out there because you should never, ever let another person control your own destiny." Sabrina assures fans that she will no longer hide away from her future because "her future isn’t over yet." Watch this space readers…
